The Diamond Glow Dermalinfusion is a cosmetic procedure that can improve the appearance of your skin with just one or a series of treatments. The procedure can be done during your lunch time and only takes about 30 minutes. There is no pain or downtime involved. Like with microdermabrasion, Dr. Cavalli uses the Diamond Glow procedure to remove the outer layers of skin through diamond exfoliation. The advantage of Diamond Glow treatment over microdermabrasion comes from the usage of various treatment serums specially formulated to treat specific skin conditions.

Some of the conditions that Diamond Glow treat include:

  • Oily or acne-prone skin
  • Dry skin
  • Wrinkles and fine lines
  • Sun and age spots

The Diamond Glow treatment can be used on your face, neck, chest, hands, feet, and other areas of your body to rejuvenate your appearance.

Diamond Glow is a unique wet microdermabrasion/dermal infusion treatment that both exfoliates the skin and evacuates pore-clogging impurities, while infusing skin with nutrients and antioxidants. Skin is smoothed and refined to a noticeable radiant glow.

More powerful than glycolic chemical peels or deep facials, the Diamond Glow procedure combines state-of-the-art diamond exfoliation and vacuum pore extraction with dermal infusion for fresher feeling, brighter looking skin right away with no downtime.

Diamond Glow is an essential for weddings, graduations, birthdays, anniversaries… and days when you need a pick-me-up!

FAQs

Q: What type of skin conditions can the Diamond Glow help?

A: Designed to address a range of skin conditions from photoaging, uneven pigmentation, weathered rough skin, and acne, Diamond Glow dermal infusions are individually selected to target your specific skin concerns. Hyaluronic acid, retinoids, vitamin C, or skin brightening agent Lumixyl, can be infused for a red-carpet ready, dewey complexion. Diamond Glow is also very effective for acne with a specialized acne treatment tip and salacid infusion. Most people have noticeable results after one treatment and remarkable results after three treatments.

Q: Is the Diamond Glow safe for people with rosacea or sensitive skin?

A: Yes, those with rosacea benefit greatly from gentle exfoliation and soothing dermal infusion of hyaluronic acid, leaving the skin supple and hydrated.

Q: Is Diamond Glow just for the face?

A: No, Diamond Glow treatments work beautifully on the neck, chest, and décolletage too.

Q: How often can Diamond Glow be performed?

A: Diamond Glow can be performed every 2 weeks for maximal impact (in case of a wedding or reunion!) or can be done on an “as needed” basis. Some people will have a single Diamond Glow performed before a special occasion, while others receive monthly treatments as part of their ongoing skin care maintenance regimen. The Diamond Glow can also be performed in addition to, or alternating with, traditional hydroxy acid chemical peels.

Q: How many Diamond Glow procedures do I need?

A: The optimal number of Diamond Glow treatments for each individual will vary depending on the treatment goals. For improvement of acne, brown spots, or overall skin quality, a minimum of 3 treatments performed at 2-3 week intervals are recommended. Many people chose to complete a series of 5 treatments for maximal results. For those who simply desire a deep facial exfoliation for an immediate healthy glow, one treatment will do.

Q: Is there anyone who should not undergo a Diamond Glow treatment?

A: The Diamond Glow is performed on younger skin for acne and skin clarity, on adult skin for radiant complexion, and on mature skin to combat photo-aging. Both men and women enjoy the many benefits. Those with active skin infections, cold sores, or skin rashes such as eczema or psoriasis, those with a lowered immune system, or those with a history of keloid formation should not receive treatments. Only dermal infusions of hyaluronic acid and vitamin C are safe during pregnancy. In addition, those on retinoid creams (tretinoin or retrinal) should discontinue use for 1 week prior to the Diamond Glow procedure.

Q: Is there any downtime?

A: Diamond Glow is a no downtime procedure that gives immediate skin smoothing effects. It is optimally performed several days before, or on the same day as, your big event.

Q: Is there any special skincare after a Diamond Glow?

A: Yes, it is the ideal time to make sure you are using your Lumiere, Journee, and/or Biocream in order to maximally stimulate collagen synthesis. Do wash daily with a gentle cleanser. Retinoid creams and vitamin C serums should be discontinued for 2 to 3 days after the treatment to avoid possible irritation. Of course, daily sunscreen should be continued.

Q: Can I give my friend a Diamond Glow for a gift?

A: Yes, gift certificates are popular and are available at the office for Diamond Glow and many other rejuvenating procedures and anti-aging cosmeceuticals.
